Extramedul!ary Plasmacytoma of the Maxillary Sinus - Case Report
上顎竇內之骨髓外漿細胞腫瘤－一病例報告
摘要
患者為42歲男性,於一九八五年十二月六 日因左側中中顏面區疼痛性腫大而來本院口腔顎面外科求診。臨床X光檢查發現左側上頭囊區有一界限不明的放射線透射區以及二顆贅的牙齒,初診時的臨床診斷為牙胚性囊腫或 是造牙釉母細胞瘤。但是經由組織病理切片檢查結果証實為骨外漿細胞腫瘤。病人接受上顎半顎切除術切除腫瘤，並在術後接受放射線治療後經過了三年的追蹤檢查，目前生活的情形非良好，牙科補綴物亦已經完全適應，而且病灶並無再發的現象，故提出報告。

A 42-Year-old male was referred to the KMCH oral surgery department on Dec. 6. 1985, because of painful swelling of his left middle face. Laboratory data were within normal limits. Radiography showed an ill-defined radiolucent shadow with two supernumerary teeth in the left maxillary sinus region.The clinical and histopathological examination revealed an extramedullary plasmacytoma. The patient received hemimaxillectomy surgery and post-operative radiotherapy (42 Gy, in daily fractions of 2 Gy). A gular schedule of follow-up appointments were conducted for 3 years with the patient being-virtually disease free.
