摘要

因鼻胃管引發之食道狹窄極爲罕見，迄今文獻中僅有少數病例被報導遇。我們報告：81歲男性病患因爲接受二個月之鼻胃管置入，而於拔除鼻胃管後一個月發生漸進性吞嚥困難、（口惡）心、嘔吐。經上消化道內視鏡及鋇劑檢查證實爲食道下三分之一的嚴重狹窄。因鼻胃管在臨床上被廣泛使用，此病例之報告可提醒我們鼻胃管有可能引發之嚴重併發症，從而於適當病患選擇其他灌食方式，如經皮內視鏡胃造廔術等。

Esophageal stricture associated with the use of a nasogastric tube is very uncommon, and has been reported only rarely in the literature so far. We report a patient who had an indwelling nasogastric tube for more than 2 months and developed severe distal esophageal stricture one month after the tube was removed. The possibility of such a serious complication associated with the use of nasogastric tube in routine clinical procedure reminds us that there may be alternative means, such as percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, to avoid this dismal outcome.
