英語課程首要目標在於引起學生學習語言的動機,過去有關國小英語教學大多著重於聽說等技能部分,本文則從實施英語話劇課程方式,提升學童對英語的學習興趣,內容包括歌唱韻律、角色扮演、話劇表演等項,除培養學生基本英語溝通能力外,並達成文化陶冶之旨趣。據此,本研究在英語話劇課程實施中,針對國小六年級學生,採用質的研究方法,藉由實際觀察法、省思札記、問卷法和焦點團體訪談法,以探究英語話劇課程實施之整體成效。 研究發現:(一)從學習過程中體認不同價值觀,包括:增進語言表達能力、促進師生和同儕之瞭解、學習欣賞英語話劇旨趣(二)編選英語劇本之考量-融入學生創造力(三)尊重不同的想法及個別差異性。
The first aim of English curriculum was to attract students' interest in learning language. Most English teaching studies focused on listening and speaking skills. The purpose of this study was to increase students' motivation in learning English through English drama in the implementation of curriculum. English drama included singing, chanting, dancing, role playing and so on to improve students' basic communication in English and cultivate expressive and culture education. In order to enrich English drama in the implementation of curriculum, this study explores the elementary six-grade students' evaluation of English drama in the implementation of curriculum through qualitative research (observation, journals, questionnaires, and focus groups interview). The researcher has found that: (1) students realize the importance of cooperation in the process of English drama in the implementation of curriculum, including: improving students' language ability, facilitating the relationship between teacher and students and appreciating the essence of drama; (3) students' creativity has been taken into consideration in the implementation of drama curriculum; (4) the students' different perspectives and individuality have to be respected.
