一位職業網球選手生涯發展和轉換歷程之敘說研究

A Narrative Study on the Career Development and Conversion Course of a Professional Tennis Player

摘要


本研究主要在探討一位職業網球選手生涯發展和轉換歷程,透過半結構式深度訪談與研究參與者對話,探討其成長過程與生涯發展和轉換歷程之經驗故事敘說。本研究以質性研究之敘說探究為研究策略,進行資料蒐集、分析、編碼與歸納,呈現研究參與者生涯發展和轉換階段的調適方式,並以Super生涯發展理論之「拱門模型」理論為依據,論證如何影響其個人生涯發展與轉換之因素。本研究結論分析研究參與者選手時期從接觸網球運動契機、興趣養成至職業運動員到職業選手歷程與退役,與轉換教師時期工作選擇、教學改變到自我實現與生涯建議,於生涯發展理論之成長、探索與建立時期之關鍵事件影響因素,經重要他人的認同發展出網球興趣之自我概念,隨著年齡增長,興趣與能力漸顯重要,發展出對於工作的正確態度,並發展出職業的偏好,試圖探索職業球員角色與試圖延長職業球員生涯,在教職工作中,不斷累積經驗與精進專業發展之自我實現,學習和他人建立關係,在一個穩固的位置上尋求發展,在生涯拱門,傳記(個體)基石部分,初始對於網球之興趣與需求、認同自身實力與教師身分之價值、教學與帶隊之智慧與職業球員與教師之性向於各個發展階段;在地理(環境)基石部分,來自於家庭的認同與責任、同儕促使走向職業與瞭解其重要性、不同學校之影響力、考量到經濟之穩定性與社會工作價值與地位,最終形成H自我之概念。

The purpose of this research was to discuss the career of a professional tennis player's development and transition. With the semi-construction interview, the conversation discusses the detailed experience. The research method used is the qualitative research to gather, analyze, number and categorize the information. The method is based on archway model from Super's career development theory to demonstrate how it affect the career process and the result. The conclusions of this research analyze the key events influencing factors during the period of the growth, exploration and establishment of the participants' career development and transition in the career development theory, from exposure to tennis to becoming a professional tennis player, and finally career transition as a faculty and coach, and seeking for further doctoral programs. The development of higher positions establishes self-concept. In the archway model, the base of biography (individual), the initial interest and needs for tennis, the value of identifying one's own strength and teacher status, the intelligence of teaching and leading the team, and the aptitude of professional players and teachers are in various stages of development; In the base part of geography (environment), the identity and responsibility from the family, peers group to promote career and understanding of its importance, the influence of different schools, considering the stability of the economy and the value and status of society, and finally form the H self-concept.
