國小學童家長近視預防親職教育介入成效研究

The Effect of Parents' Education Intervention on Myopia Prevention of the Elementary School Children

摘要


本實驗研究之目的著重在設計、執行家長預防學童近視親職教育介入及評價其成效。採準實驗之「實驗組對照組前後測設計」,以臺北縣九十六學年度第一學期就讀於國民小學一年級的全體學童家長為研究母群體。並以立意取樣的方式選取某國民小學的一年級學童家長為樣本,以隨機分配的方式,由一年級選取8個班級的學童家長,四班為實驗組共計109人、四班為對照組共計108人,參與研究人數共217人。 本研究所得重要發現如下: 一、學童近視預防親職教育介入五個月後,發現實驗組研究對象在「學童近視預防知識」、「學童近視預防行動線索」、「對學童採取近視預防行為」等三項效標上皆產生了效果;亦即親職教育的介入,使實驗組的家長在學童近視預防知識、學童近視預防行動線索、對學童採取近視預防行為上皆優於對照組。 二、在學童近視預防親職教育介入的五個月後,雖然研究發現實驗組與對照組在學童視力上未呈顯著差異,但其效果還有待較長時間之觀察。根據本研究結果,未來研究建議在親職教育介入實驗性研究方面,可延長介入時間來鼓勵家長積極參與,以探討親職教育介入的長期效果及增進學童近視預防自我保護能力,減少學童近視的發生。

The main purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate the effect the parents' education intervention on myopia prevention of the elementary school children. The study was constructed on quasi-experimental design with case-control study. The experimental school in Taipei County was non-randomly assigned by the main purpose of this study. According to the principle of theoretical sampling, we decided to enroll the first grades students' parents as the population in this research at the ninety-six academic year. There were 217 samples in this study which included the experimental group 109 and the control group 108 ones. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. After five months intervening, we found the experimental group was significantly better than the control group in ”the scores of myopia knowledge”, ”taking preventative for school children's myopia cue in action”, and ”adoption myopic preventative measures for children”. 2. After analyzing, the scores of the children's vision were not significantly making progress in the experimental and control groups. Based on the findings, the researchers suggested that we ought to extend the study period to encouraged parents participate in education intervention of the myopia prevention for children to help the children to protect themselves.
