臺灣南部地區某市中式餐廳廚房工作人員留任目前工作意願之研究

The Study of Willingness of Staying in Present Jobs for Employees Working in Chinese Style Restaurants in a City of Southern Taiwan

摘要


本研究之目的在於瞭解目前臺灣南部地區某城市中式餐廳從業人員留任目前工作崗位之意願及其決定留任目前工作崗位之重要因素,進而探討各項工作滿意程度之高低是否與員工決定留任目前工作崗位之意願有關。採當面實施問卷的方式,自臺灣南部地區某城市隨機抽出40家中式餐廳,依餐廳內廚房工作人員人數之多寡,每餐廳隨機抽取2~3位廚房工作人員為研究樣本,扣除無效問卷後,計有效問卷為94份。研究結果顯示大部分中式餐廳廚房工作人員留任目前工作的意願頗高,決定他們是否留任目前工作之重要因素以「薪津」、「同事間相處情形」、「工作環境」及「主管領導方式」為最多。大部分中式餐廳廚房工作人員在目前工作單位中所面對之同事及主管間的人際關係在「滿意」以上,但是在「薪津」及「工作環境」方面的滿意程度則介於「滿意」及「不滿意」之間。最後利用Spearman's等級相關驗證:廚房工作人員對「薪津」、「同事間相處情形」、「工作環境」、「主管領導方式」等各方面滿意程度之等級與其決定留任目前工作的意願,有顯著的正相關。

The purpose of this study was to assess the willingness of employees' staying in their present jobs and to identify the factors affecting their willingness for the employees working in Chinese style restaurants in a city of southern Taiwan. The relationship between job satisfaction levels and willingness of staying was also evaluated. In each restaurant, 2~3 employees were randomly selected to answer the designed questionnaires; totally 94 effective samples were obtained from 40 Chinese style restaurants in the city of southern Taiwan. The results demonstrated that, the willingness of staying for most restaurant employees were high. The factors affecting the willingness of staying in the present jobs were the salary level, the relationship between co-workers, the working environment, and the management style of the authority. Most employees were satisfied with the relationship with their co-workers as well as the management style of the authority. However, the salary level and working environment were rated between ”satisfactory” and ”not satisfactory” Data analysis using Spearman rank correlation method indicated that those factors, including the salary level, relationship between co-workers, as well as the management style of the authority have significant and positive correlations with their willingness of staying in the present jobs.
