從“藥物試驗”現象探討中醫“藥性歸經”的意涵

摘要

傳統醫學流傳至今已逾兩千年歷史，由於針灸及中藥的普遍應用，對於中華民族的存續有莫大貢獻。而中藥使用的指導原則之一，乃針對產生症狀的經絡臟腑給與作用該處的合適藥物，這種使用藥物對應特定經絡的影響方式，稱之爲「藥性歸經」。
時至今日，各種合成藥物的開發方興未艾，然而主流醫學對日益增多的慢性病及癌症患者卻仍束手無策，似乎現代醫學中少了一項重要卻容易被忽略的環節，才會產生這樣的結果。直到二十世紀五○年代，電學的蓬勃發展，讓我們重新認識經絡系統在身體的關鍵角色，經絡系統正是這個被現代醫學忽略的重要環節。
基於這樣的背景下，有必要做經絡的探討，本文試圖經由穴道電檢儀的藥物試驗現象，研究合成抗癲癇藥物「癲能停」對經絡的影響，除了確認藥物信息可經由儀器電子迴路導入人體，並進一步了解到對人體經絡臟腑的細部影響，此與中藥的「藥性歸經」精神不謀而合，更希望此能提供一套研究程序，從藥物測試的經絡模式，架起東西方醫學溝通的橋樑。

Traditional Chinese acupuncture and herbs had been widely used to treat patients in various situations in the past two thousands years. They had great contribution to the survival of Chinese peoples. One of the principles of using Chinese herbs is to prescribe suitable medications for the clinical symptom related to affected meridian-organs. This kind of special herbs will affect some specific meridians-so called ”the effect of Chinese herbs over median system”.
Today, many synthetic drugs had produced. But we still have no effective way to restrain the increase of chronic diseases and cure cancer patients. It seems that western medicine lacks some important ”missing linkage” to improve our health.
Not until the mid 20(superscript th) century, the research of meridian electricity property has been studied due to the rapid development of electrical instruments. We have an opportunity to review how the meridian system has played an important role to human body. And the meridian system is exactly the missing linkage we are looking for.
This article is a study on how the information wave of phenytoin, an anti-epilepsy drug, was used to adjust one's physical condition under the meridian system via the Electro-Dermal Screening System. The information wave indeed exists and through the meridian system it could affect the body and/or energy. The final discussion will emphasize on the importance of meridian system in the basic integration of the traditional Chinese and Western medicine.
