摘要

牙周病造成的囊袋形成及齒槽骨萎縮是臨床上常見的情形，而牙周手術治療的目標便是希望能夠有牙周組織的再生，進而降低牙周的破壞。近年來因為材料技術的發展，牙釉基質衍生物（enamel matrix derivative,EMD, Emdogain®）逐漸被使用於牙周手術的治療當中，作為一種可促進牙周組織再生的工具，期望能夠增加牙周手術的治療效果。因此本篇文章以兩個使用牙釉基質衍生物之病例報告觀察其治療效果，同時回顧相關文獻。

Pocket formation and alveolar bone loss are common results of periodontitis observed at dental clinic. A goal of periodontal therapy is to obtain periodontal regeneration and then reduce the destruction of periodontal tissue. Recently due to the development of material technology, enamel matrix derivative(EMD, Emdogain®) is now using as a tool to make regeneration of periodontal tissue and so that increase the efficacy of periodontal surgery. These two cases showed treatment results of using EMD in intrabony periodontal defects.
