衝浪活動參與者特質及參與動機之探討

摘要

臺灣是一個海島型國家，周邊海洋生態豐富，海岸線長達一千五百公里，16世紀，葡萄牙人發現台灣這個美麗的島並將其稱為福爾摩沙，意即海上寶島之意，因四面環海亦具有水域休閒運動發展上的優勢。本文將以實地訪談的方式，並採用立意抽樣法，針對不同性別、年齡、職業與學歷的衝浪參與者進行深度訪談，藉以探討臺灣北海岸衝浪活動參與者之特質以及參與動機。本探討結果顯示，衝浪活動參與者年齡多介於21至35歲之間的青壯年人士，大多數為未婚，來自家庭的負擔與反對聲浪相對減少，因此可以彈性分配自己的時間，且他們皆有崇尚海洋、喜好運動以及海岸環境保護的監督與力行者的共同特質。他們參與衝浪活動之動機包括了體驗海洋的感覺、對衝浪活動的好奇心、體驗衝浪活動的機會、紓解生活上的壓力、讓身、心、靈的沉澱以及挑戰自我，獲得成就感。

Taiwan is an island country, the surrounding marine ecological rich, one thousand and five hundred km long coastline, Taiwan in sixteenth Century, the Portuguese discovered this beautiful island and called Formosa, which means the sea island of Italy, was surrounded by the sea also has the advantage of the development of aquatic sports. This paper will take the field interviews, and uses the purposive sampling method, according to different gender, age, occupation and education of surfing participants in-depth interviews, to explore the characteristics of the north coast of Taiwan surf activity participants' participation motivation. And this study results show that surfing participants age between 21 to 35 years old young people, mostly unmarried, burden and opposition from the family is relatively reduced, so it can be flexible allocate their time, and they are advocating marine, sporting and environmental protection supervision and force The common characteristics of travel. They participate in activities including motivation surfing experience of surfing the ocean feeling, curiosity, experience surfing opportunities, alleviate the pressure of living, let the body, heart, spirit of precipitation and challenge themselves, get a sense of achievement.
