Recently, workplace bullying has become an important issue in working environment, many studies also pointed out the incidence rate of workplace bullying in healthcare field is relatively high compared to other occupations. Workplace bullying indicates that there are many negative impacts on nursing profession; in less serious case: staff resignation, and in severe case: casualties among employees and damage to the reputation of the organization, therefore it really worth the attention from current managers. The authors researched the literatures about workplace bullying in recent years, and made an introduction about bullying in the nursing workplace. It is hoped that through this article, nursing managers will have a better understanding of workplace bullying; also serves as a reference for preventing and dealing with this type of issue in the future.
