目的:評估醫院中工作人員之健康體適能分析。方法:醫院員工參加評估者共405位,醫護與非醫護人員各為243位與162位,接受身體質量指數、肌肉耐力、肌肉力量、柔軟度與心肺耐力等健康體適能檢測。結果:男女性員工於肌肉耐力與女性員工於身體質量指數方面,不同年齡層有明顯差異,坐姿體前彎柔軟度、手握力與登階指數方面則無明顯差異;醫護人員在身體質量指數與肌肉耐力方面優於非醫護人員,且醫護人員及非醫護人員年齡分層後,分別在身體質量指數與肌肉耐力有明顯差異,但坐姿體前彎柔軟度、手握力與登階指數則皆無差異。結論:本研究利用體適能檢測正確掌握醫院員工體適能狀況,將有助於擬定改善的體適能方案及環境,使得醫院每位員工均擁有身心健康的體魄,提升個人健康生活品質,進而達成健康促進的使命。
Background & Purpose: The objective of this study was to estimate the health-related physical fitness of hospital workers. Methods: A total of 405 volunteers in a hospital received a health-related physical fitness test. We collected data on body mass index, one-minute sit-ups, grip strength test, sit and reach test, and a modified Harvard step test. Results: Male workers of different ages did not differ significantly in body mass index, grip strength, sit and reach test, or the modified Harvard step test, but did differ in the one-minute sit-up. Young females had body mass index and one-minute sit-up results better (p<0.05) than the middle aged and elderly. Female workers of different ages did not differ significantly in grip strength, sit and reach test, or the modified Harvard step test results/scores. Health care workers had body mass index and one-minute sit-up results better (p<0.05) than those of the non-health care workers, and there are no significant differences in grip strength, sit and reach test, or the modified Harvard step test results/scores. Conclusions: Health-related physical fitness tests may be used as a screening tool for the assessment of health condition of workers. These results may provide information not only for personal health care but also for health policy management.
