From the managerial perspectives, what to invest for tourist destination areas is a critical issue. The effectiveness of decision would bring positive influences upon TDAs. This article proposes an assessment matrix which shows the status quo of TDAs in terms of their attractiveness and service availablility. According to this matrix, the strategic investments to be a hot spot, the formation of TDAs, and the integration of regional tourism resources could be inferred. All of these propositions are useful for better decisions.
