專業學習社群是由一群專業工作者所組成之學習與成長的團體,其強調「合作」的概念,成員之間對專業有共同的信念、願景或目標,透過成員之間省思對話、探索學習、協同合作及分享討論等方式,來促進服務對象之學習成效的提升,並精進自身的專業素養。本文從專業學習社群之重要內涵出發,介紹專業學習社群的意義、理論基礎、特徵與運作要素、效益與限制,再說明國內教學輔導教師制度的運作及特色,而後論述教師專業學習社群在教學輔導教師制度中的發展階段及實踐實例,並進一步說明教師專業學習社群的具體實踐之道,以提供國內學者專家以及實務工作人員於未來辦理與推動教學輔導教師制度之參酌,以促進國內中小學教師的專業發展,進而增益學生之學習。
Professional Learning Community (PLC) is a group of learning and professional growth that consists of professional workers. It emphasizes ”collaboration”, and the members in the community have common beliefs, visions, or goals. It can improve target clients' learning outcomes and community members' quality through reflective dialogue, discovery learning, cooperation, and sharing.The purposes of this article are to summarize the meaning, theoretical base, characteristics and operating factors, and benefits and limitations of PLC, and to introduce the content and characteristics of the mentor teacher program in Taiwan. This paper also analyzes the process and practices of implementing PLC in the mentor teacher program, which might provides some insight for experts and practitioners in Taiwan to plan and carry out the activities of the program and teacher's professional growth, and then to improve the learning of students in Taiwan.
