社團活動參與是學生培養多元能力的重要管道。社團可以訓練學生做人做事,學習群體生活,協助其畢業後面對多元化的社會。由於過去少有對社團幹部做持續性的實證研究,因此本研究的主要目的,在於延續多年來本研究小組針對大專校園社團發展之相關課題等所作的調查研究工作。本研究透過問卷調查受訪的兩大社團學生幹部族群,其一為近三年參與教育部與救國團共同舉辦的全國大專校院社團幹部研習活動之學員,其二為近二年來參與教育部訓委會委託各大專校院舉辦之全國大專校院績優學生社團評鑑之校園社團幹部,受訪學生幹部合計1725人。研究結果顯示,不論是哪一個族群,三年來15項優勢領導能力的相對重要性都相當雷同,而且不論對哪一個族群而言,「人際修養」的領導能力都比「工作要求」的領導能力因素來得重要。相對於績優社團幹部族群,金山幹部族群認為「人際修養」的領導能力因素較為重要。
Participating in student organizations is a crucial way for college students to build multiple competences. On the campus, any learning plan for students should be in the eye of career development for students. In order to understand the relative importance of excellent leadership competences for college student cadres, this study was preceded from 2004-2006 gathering two different samples including totally 1725 college student cadres. One sample was cadres from ordinary student organizations, who were joining annual nation-wide seminars sponsored by Ministry of Education (MOE), the other sample was cadres from extraordinary student organizations rated by MOE. Results showed that for either sample, the relative importance of 15 excellent leadership competences for college student cadres among three years was much alike. And for either sample, the interpersonal-oriented competency factor was regarded more important than task- oriented competency factor. Further, cadres from nation-wide seminars regarded the interpersonal-oriented competency factor more important than cadres from extraordinary student organizations. Discussion and suggestion were provided.
