This study applied the fuzzy statistics method to establish an effective evaluation method for selecting textbooks. Firstly, used the fuzzy weight questionnaire to establish the weight of evaluation indicators (factors) for selecting school own textbooks. Besides, obtained the fuzzy mode through the common consensus of appraises committee in order to evaluate the appropriate textbook. According to the empirical application, the approach which applied fuzzy statistics for selecting textbooks was more reasonable to traditional one. While looking for appropriate consensus, fuzzy statistics could reflect people's actual idea.
