過去研究中指出,在人們面對面溝通中有 55%是仰賴其臉部表情,表示臉部表情在人與人的社交溝通中扮演重要角色(Mehrabian, 1968 )。本研究目的為應用 情意運算開發情感互動介面,增進人們在社交溝通上的情感交流。 人們臉部情緒定義是由 Ekman 所發展的臉部動作編碼系統,來計算對應相符 合之圖片。此外,本研究探討運用互動情感介面,評估參與者之情緒經驗。本研 究採用四種方法:實作情境式任務,情感使用性問卷,互動情感經驗訪談與使用 者觀察法。情感使用性問卷是由 PAD 三維構面(愉悅,喚起,支配)(Mehabian and Russell, 1974),樂趣品質(Hassenzahl, 2001)與系統使用性問卷(SUS)所衍生而成。 本研究將互動情感介面實施於實驗室與公共空間,比較不同環境的差異影響。實驗共招募 30 位參與者隨機參與互動並評估其互動情感介面。本研究結果顯示互動情感介面,能增進參與者在社交溝通中情感互動的能力。且在公共空間下,參與 者使用互動情感介面較能引起愉悅感。本研究結論得出運用臉部情意運算技術開 發之互動介面是適用於情感互動系統之中。
Previous research (Mehrabian,1968) shows that 55% of face-to-face human communication is relied on facialexpressions, indicating that facial expressions play an important role in social interactions between human beings. The purpose of the study is to apply affective computing to develop an affective interface for interactive system which could enhance people’s affective interaction in social communication. People’s facial emotions identified by Ekman’s FACS are computed to adapt the ambiance image. Furthermore, the evaluation methods are used to evaluate user’s emotional experience toward the interaction system. It includes 4 methods: scenario-based task performance, affective usability questionnaires, post-task interview, and user observation. The affective usability questionnaires are derived from PAD (Pleasure, Arousal, Dominance) model (Mehrabian and Russell, 1974), hedonic quality (Hassenzahl, 2001) and Usability System Scales (SUS). Both the experiments separately are executed in laboratory and the public-space to compare the effects in various situations. 30 subjects are randomly recruited to use and evaluate the affective interactive system. The results show that affective interactive system which could enhance people’s affective interaction in social communication. People feel more pleasures when using affective interface in public space. Conclude that the interactive interface developed by facial affective computing technology is proposed to apply on the affective interactive system.
