Survey on Sanitation of Commercial Food Glassware

In order to understand the sanitation of commercial food glassware 407 marketed samples were purchased and aralysed. The result showed that the content of alkaline-soluble substances in 21 samples fail to meet the sanitary standard (should be less than 4ppm). Howere, the contents of lead and arsenic of all samples were found to be within the permissible limit of sanitary standard.
