An impacted incisor with dilaceration refers to a dental deformity characterized by angulation between the crown and rod causing noneruption or impaction of the incisor. Most incisors with mild dilaceration can be successfully positioned into the proper position through adequate crown exposure and orthodontic traction. However, for incisors with severe dilaceration, surgical extraction followed by orthodontic alignment and prosthodontic reconstruction is indicated because of the difficulty in performing surgery and possible pulp and root damage which can occur during treatment. This article reports 3 cases with different degrees of dilacerated incisors. Treatment methods included crown exposure with orthodontic traction, 2-stages crown exposure surgery with orthodontic traction, and surgical extraction followed by orthodontic alignment and resin-bonded bridge restoration.
