縮短腫瘤暨綜合科病房護理人員點班時間改善專案

Approaches to Shortening the Time Spent on Routine Counting of Medical Supplies by Nursing Staff on Oncology Wards

摘要


在忙碌的醫療環境中,為掌握醫衛材、儀器的動態,點班成為護理人員上班前必備的前置作業,且是耗時最多的非護理工作。單位平均點班時間耗費42分鐘且項目高達227項,分析原因為點班品項過多且繁雜、與書記點班品項重複、庫房空間凌亂,標示不清,物品隨處亂放,物品登記動態不清或未登錄。為縮短點班時間故成立專案小組,經簡化點班項目、醫衛材/儀器採購及定點管理、制定點班、請修及借入/借出規範、使用『護理財產點班系統』、以6S管理及目視化管理概念進行庫房空間規劃、醫衛材/儀器轉出或報廢、製作醫衛材/儀器標籤及新增請修登記本後,護理人員點班時間由42分鐘縮短為14分鐘。藉由簡化點班項目、護理資訊點班方式、制定相關規範、適時轉出或報廢物品,可縮短病房點班時間。

Counting of medical supplies is the most time-consuming task in a ward routine. The average time spent is 42 minutes, and the number of items can be 227. The present analysis was performed because of unimplemented and registered items, unplanned storage areas, messy items, and the need for repeated counts of numerous items. Moreover, the specifications of repair and borrowing are unclear. A project team was established to improve the management of medical supplies. The crew simplified medical supply items, planned the placement of all supplies, formulated protocols for medical supply routine and borrowing, employed an information system (the Nursing Property Management System), planned a storage area, and transferred or scrapped the production labels on medical supplies. After project completion, the time required to perform the routine count of medical supplies had been reduced from 42 minutes to 14 minutes.
