The social status of the women in Ancient Egypt were certainly connected with their father, brother, husband or son. We have few documents which recorded about the life of Ancient Egyptian women, usually we know about them from some documents, tombs or statues which have been made by the masculine member of their families. This article will discuss the status of women in Ancient Egypt at first form juridical and economical perspective. Then their role as part of the family and the marriage will be researched. In addition, their education and which professions they are competent for. Finally, some examples from the history of ancient Egypt, namely famous female pharaoh or queen will be mentioned, and their influence.
