This paper aims to understand the number of new qualified teachers, surplus teachers and supply-over-demand of teacher labor market since Teacher Education Act 1994 by document analysis and literature review. This paper analysis the structure of teacher's supply and demand on three dimensions including teacher's vacant positive in the nine-year compulsory curriculum, teacher force's metabolism, and the match of teacher's supply and demand. According this analysis, five issues are suggested to discuss in the field of teacher education.
