以健康信念模式分析臺北市中、小學女性教師乳房自我檢查行爲

Analysis by Health Belief Model of Breast Self-Examination Behavior among Female Junior High and Elementary School Teachers in Taipei

摘要


本研究爲一相關性研究,其目的爲以健康信念模式中的五個基本概念即罹患性、嚴重性、有效性、障礙性認知及行動的線索來分析臺北市中、小學女性老師實際執行乳房自我檢查以及以後計劃定期執行乳查房自我檢查的情形。以自擬性問卷測試臺北市8所國中及8所國小的女性老師,共有520位老師參與本研究,結果發現對乳房自我檢查的障礙性認知對實際執行乳房自我檢查的頻率是具有預測力,而障礙性認知和嚴重性認知則對預期執行乳房自我檢查最具預測力,就行動的線索的三個項目中,有用方法提醒臫做乳房自我檢查及朋友中有人罹患乳房疾病者二個項目和實際執行或預期執行乳房自我檢查有顯著差異。

The purpose of this correlational study was to test the five attitudinal variables specified by the Health Belief Model (HBM) that were related to behaviors of breast self-examination (BSE). A self-developed questionnaire was used to test the attitudes and behaviors of BSE in female teachers from 8 junior high and 8 elementary schools. The total subjects were 520 school teachers. Results indicated that frequency of BSE was predicted by barriers. Results also supported the combined ability of barriers and seriousness to predict intent to practice BSE. Significant differences existed between two of the cues to action and frequency of BSE and intent to practice BSE.
