不同身體質量指數大學生的柔軟度之差異比較

The Different Comparison of Flexibility of BMI Vary in College Students

摘要


身體質量指數以及柔軟度是體適能重要指標,因此,有必要對身體質量指數與柔軟度的關係做深入探討,本研究收集95學年度至97學年度南區某大學大一新生之身體質量指數(BMI值)及柔軟度(坐姿體前彎)資料進行分析,藉以了解身體質量指數過輕、適中及過重之學生,在柔軟度(坐姿體前彎)之相關性,研究結果顯示身體質量指數適中的族群普遍表現較好,除了96學年度的男生之外都是身體質量指數過重的族群柔軟度較身體質量指數過輕的族群好,此一結果與體適能相關書籍及文獻指出脂肪若堆積在活動關節附近,會影響該關節降低柔軟度較不同,應進一步深入研究。

Body mass index and physical flexibility are the important norms of physical fitness. Therefore, the detailed exploration on the relation between body mass index and physical flexibility is needed. The study analyzes and explores the resource of freshman students' body mass index and physical flexibility (bending forward in sitting position) in a university in southern Taiwan from 95th school year to 97th school year in order to understand the relation between the insufficiency, moderation and overweight of students' body mass index and physical flexibility (bending forward in sitting position). The result shows the group with moderate body mass index generally do good job. Except the male students of the 96th school year, the physical flexibility of students with overweight body mass index is better than students with insufficient body mass index. That is different from the books and records related with physical fitness which show that fat piling around the action joint will affect the joint and low down the physical flexibility. The result will be studied more deeply.
