環碳酸酯寡聚物與聚醚雙胺反應之非異氰酸酯製程產生胺酯鏈結的探討研究

摘要


本論文實驗所合成聚氨酯(PU)的起始物有別於傳統合成聚氨酯,屬於非異氰酸酯型(Non-Isocyanates)的環保且新型聚氨酯(Polyurethane),可避免有毒害性的光氣之使用。使用環氧樹脂在常壓下通入二氧化碳(Carbon dioxide),進行親核開環反應得到環狀碳酸酯(Cyclic carbonate),再以一長鏈段的二元胺進行開環加成反應,便可以得到主結構上具有胺基甲酸酯(Urethane)官能基之高分子材料,此類新穎材料可稱為非異氰酸酯型的聚氨酯,此材料比起傳統的異氰酸酯型的聚氨酯之製程更具環保與創新性。 本論文的實驗Part A部分,以雙酚A型環氧樹脂(DGEBA)為起始物,製備過程中持續導入二氧化碳來形成環狀碳酸酯,再加入聚醚雙胺化合物(Jeffamines)進行反應,形成主鏈段上掛有胺基甲酸酯官能基及羥基的聚胺基甲酸酯(Hydroxyl PU)。並於研究過程中使用傳統加熱和微波加熱這兩種不同的加熱方式進行,之後再對其所合成出的聚胺基甲酸酯進行分子量鑑定和熱性質等分析,最後並討論其聚合反應前後的相互變化。   而實驗Part B部分,改使用含環氧基壓克力單體(GMA)為起始物,製備形成具有環狀碳酸酯的共聚物,再以傳統加熱的方式與聚醚雙胺化合物(Jeffamines)反應,製備可形成網狀交聯形態的聚胺酯薄膜。進而探討其物理性質(膠含量、吸水率、對水損失率、乙醇吸收率、對乙醇損失率)和熱性質(熱重分析)等變化。

A new urethane is obtained from Bis-cyclic carbonate containing compounds with a di-amine terminated polymer (e.g. Jeffamines) either by heating or by microwave radiation. Microwave radiation has been proved the most effective tool to accelerating urethane formation according to our results. Bis-cyclic carbonate containing compound is prepared by carbon dioxide insertion into epoxy resin at atmospheric pressure. The urethane moiety containing prepolymer via a non-isocyanate process has been applied on the following two types of bis-carbonate containing prepolymers: Type A: A Bis-cyclic carbonate from epoxy resin (Diglycidylether bisphenol-A, DGEBA). Type B: A Bis-cyclic carbonate from glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) copolymer (GMA-containing polyacrylates). The polymer with urethane formation has been derived from the ring-opening reaction of Jeffamines with type A or B either by heating or by microwave radiation. The physical (gel content, water absorption, ethanol swollen) and thermal properties of the resulting urethane containing polymers via this non-isocyanate process have been investigated in this report.
