With increasing global environmental awareness, textile manufacturers have gradually focused on developing green textile products. However, there are over 40 different textile “green marks” and a variety of restricted substances lists (RSLs), which increases the difficulty of operating in the textile industry. Furthermore, while cloud services have become mainstream for information applications, their application is not yet universal to all enterprises. Therefore, this study investigates whether a cloud service for RSLs can be adopted for the textile industry. This study explores the degree to which introduced RSL cloud services are accepted by the textile industry based on the technology acceptance model (TAM). This model considers external variables from different dimensions, such as RSL management, supply chain management and cloud features, to explore the willingness of enterprises to use a cloud service and the major considerations of these enterprises regarding introducing an RSL cloud service. The study results show that regulative, normative and cognitive pressures significantly impact behavioural intentions, while trust and commitment significantly impact the attitude of the users. In addition, the cost, flexibility, compatibility, security and performance of a cloud service significantly impact its perceived usefulness, while the cost, flexibility and performance also significantly impact its perceived ease of use.
