由於傳統建築聚落的教學呈現方法有所不足,本研究嘗試整合逐漸成 熟的網路虛擬實境與多媒體技術,利用虛擬實境較高的互動性、融入性與 網路多人參與的可能,結合適當的教學理論,實際設計出一套可行的網路 虛擬實境建築聚落教材。 本研究為電腦輔助學習的實作教材,以九份的建築聚落發展歷程作為 課程主題,並以情境學習理念作為教學理論的基礎,利用虛擬實境作為主 要教材呈現媒介,在參考了國內外的虛擬實境教學的案例後,整理提出了 作中學、合作學習與學徒制等設計原則,藉此設計課程活動進行方式。學 習者將在擬真的九份學習情境下,自由接觸知識訊息,產生主觀的知識脈 絡,並根據這些脈絡,自行建構九份聚落建築,而非只是單純的導覽。 實作上以全球資訊網中的VRML為基礎設計教學課程,提供建築聚落此 類較需以三度空間呈現與互動的課程內容,一個可行的教學模式。而本研 究也提供了傳統鄉土建築聚落教學方式另一個思考方向,可以作為推動鄉 土教育的電腦化與網路化的參考。
Due to the lack of proper visual presentation for learning traditional architecture, this research tries to apply the internet-based virtual reality technology to build a highly interactive architecture and urban-growth learning material which can be immersed and multi-user participated. After reviewing related theories and projects, the researcher takes Chiufen as an example to design this material. Based upon the philosophy of "learning by doing", "apprenticeship" and "collaboration", the learners of this material are asked to actively explore the material and to construct their own knowledge toward the architecture and urban-growth of Chiufen. This research is a pilot effort to link the virtual reality technique with situated learning theory. In addition, by providing a practicable model of designing virtual reality learning material, this research offers people another option to learn traditional native architecture and urban-growth on internet.
