近年來由於資訊科技的快速演進及網際網路的出現,促使學術出版及其產出之應用方式產生了巨變。學術電子資料庫之建置屬於數位出版產業的應用範疇,除了是現今學術傳播的重要趨勢與管道,更具學術價值與豐富商機。由於兩岸政府均致力於數位出版產業上的發展,加上在兩岸對單一華文出版市場的願景驅動下,進入中國市場就成為臺灣出版業者與內容服務者的一個發展策略。本論文研究是運用文獻分析與個案研究方式,挑選臺灣和中國具代表性的學術電子資料庫服務平台作為個案研究,探討臺灣與中國大陸在數位出版產業與電子資料庫服務平台的發展歷程與現況,並運用SWOT分析比較臺灣與中國大陸在發展數位出版產業與電子資料庫服務平台業者之優勢、劣勢、威脅與機會,期望透過個案之分析研究,提供臺灣數位出版與電子資料庫服務平台業者未來進入中國大陸市場之參考。
In recent years, the rapid advancement of information technology and the advent of high-speed and ubiquitous Internet drive the academic publication and production to go through a profound change. The establishment of academic e-database as an application in digital publication industry becomes an important trend and channel of modern academic distribution, and it is full of more academic values and business opportunities. In light of the devotion to digital publication industry of Taiwan and Chinese governments, and the drive of a vision on one Chinese single publication market, seeking to access to the Chinese market becomes a business strategy for Taiwanese publishers and content providers. The study takes methods of literature analysis and case study to conduct research, in which iconic academic e-database service platforms in Taiwan and China are picked up as cases. The researcher analyzes the history and current development of digital publication industry and e-database in Taiwan and China, and uses SWOT analysis to distinguish the strength, weakness, threats and opportunities when Taiwanese and Chinese business are developing digital publication industry and e-database service platform. It is expected that the result of the case study will serve as a reference to Taiwanese digital publishers and e-database service providers planning to enter the Chinese market in the future.
