噴射式針型大氣低溫電漿設計開發與應用於根管滅菌之研究

摘要


傳統根管治療於臨床研究顯示治療後失敗率仍舊超過10%,主因為滅菌不完全所導致。大氣低溫電漿由於滅菌效果良好近年被廣泛應用於滅菌之領域。本研究使用自製的Damping波形訊號產生器耦合感應高壓線圈,結合自製的噴射式針型大氣低溫電漿反應器激發電漿作根管假體滅活大腸桿菌與糞腸球菌之研究。電源提供之Damping波形的頻率為135.6 kHz、振幅為18.3 kV,系統消耗總功率為25.3 W。針型反應器不僅能成功深入窄小之根管假體激發電漿,更可以徒手觸摸並且不感到任何熱及電刺激效應。定量滅菌結果顯示大腸桿菌與糞腸球菌不論於任何實驗組別皆可各自於20秒與4分鐘內達到90%滅菌之D-value,且各自於3分鐘與30分鐘內達到完全滅菌之結果;於增添5.25%次氯酸鈉溶液實驗組別呈現比單純使用氣體激發電漿更有效的滅菌效率。結果顯示本研究自製之噴射式針型大氣低溫電漿能快速達到對大腸桿菌與糞腸球菌於根管假體內滅菌之效果。

Clinic studies show that there are more than 10% of treatment failures when the traditional disinfection methods are used. The failures are mainly due to the presence of bacteria, which cannot be completely sterilized by the methods. Recently, the cold atmospheric pressure plasma has been widely investigated for sterilization. In our study, the antimicrobial activity used a homemade damping function generator to couple with a high voltage coil, and combines a homemade cold atmospheric pressure needle plasma handpiece device to excite plasma and treat on simulated root canals infected with Escherichia coli and Enterococcus faecalis. The applied voltage and frequency of the damping waveform is respective 18.3 kV and 135.6 kHz, and the total power is about 25.3 W. The needle plasma not only can be touch by a bare hand without any feeling of warmth and electrical chock but also can generate plasma inside the root canal prosthesis. The quantitative analysis result of sterilization of Escherichia coli and Enterococcus faecalis show the D-value (90% sterilization) were only 20 second and 4 minutes in all treatment groups respectively. After plasma treatment for 3 and 30 minutes respectively, the bacteria can be completely sterilized. The quantitative analysis result of sterilization of needle plasma containing 5.25% sodium hypochlorite is more effective than needle plasma only. The results of this study approved that the homemade cold atmospheric pressure needle plasma device can fast achieve sterilization of Escherichia coli and Enterococcus faecalis in root canal prosthesis effectively.
