線畫風格於繪本創作之研究

摘要


繪本是藉由「圖像語言」與「文字語言」所結合的創作合體,將具有空間屬性的平面繪畫與經驗累積的抽象符號-文字,重新組合的創作結晶。 多元性的圖像文化和視覺消費目前正衝擊繪本市場。也就是文化消費觀念已經快速蔓延,其中炙手可熱的繪本創作,已經悄悄的打破兒童與成人閱讀圖畫書的界線,甚至跨越文化、種族和國界。 以線畫line drawing風格為研究主軸,讓人們的視覺經驗回歸到最原始的概念,視覺line drawing意象的角度看線畫。若說藝術是人類精神生活的美麗呈現,那麼繪本便是以獨立自主的藝術形式來詮釋傳達一種生活意念,而繪本的產生則是將一種富感染性、獨特性的視覺藝術觸角伸至成年人。對於閱讀者而言,此種繪本化的型態象徵著圖文組合的突破與創新,是另一類文學的形態。「線畫」line drawing這個形容詞,既是專有名詞。美的線條造就所有繪本的開始,從文化的角度來說,為了追求視覺的快感,從文字的外觀體驗漸漸進入視覺體驗成為主流,甚至超越語言之上,而將文字藝術的品味轉換成平面繪畫,使得人們的時空開始起了前所未有的變化。線條是一種造形語言,故其表現的機能,不但止於線條本身該有的機能,也呈現設計者的情感。創造前所未有的線畫繪本設計。

Picture-book is the body of combined creation from “picture language” and “word language” as 2-D picture with spatial attribute and abstract symbol – language -- from accumulated experience is taken as the creation essence of re-combination. Diversified pictorial culture and visual consumption are currently pounding on picture-book market. As a matter fact, concept of cultural consumption has quickly spread out, while the popular picture-book creation has quietly broken loose the borderline between children and adult reading picture-book; even more, it has crossed beyond the line of culture, race, and nation. In this study, style of line drawing is exploited as the primary axis so that human visual experience can be returned to the most primordial state as they should employ the perspective from imagery of visual line drawing to view about line drawing. If we consider that art is the demonstration of beauty for human spiritual life, picture-book should then resort to independent and autonomous form of art to interpret another kind of life idea, while the creation of picture-book is found with such antenna of richly infectious and unique visual art extended to adults. As for reading audience, the mode of picture-book symbolizes the breakthrough and innovation of in combination of picture and word, being the mode of literature of the other kind. In fact, line drawing is both an adjective as well as specialized glossary. Fundamentally, line of beauty has created the beginning of all picture-book, and the outlook of word has gradually transformed into the visual experience to have become the mainstream and even in transcendence of language if viewed from the perspective of culture and for the pursuit of visual orgasm. Then, the taste for art of word is turned into 2-D painting so that the audience is found with unprecedented changes in terms of times and space. As a matter of fact, line is a kind of profile language, and so its functions expressed should not be merely limited to functions of its own, but also emotions of designers so as to create historically extraordinary picture-book of line drawing.
