國內高等技職教育體系近年來不斷蓬勃成長,尤其是在民國88~90年間專科改制技術學院乃至科技大學的風潮,更使國內的技職院校數量與競爭情況達到高峰。而校徽為學校識別系統(School Identity System ,簡稱SIS)的首要,肩負著面對大眾的第一線責任,但因為一般社會大眾往往忽略校徽的存在,也因此校徽意象的問題格外重要。因為校徽代表著一所學校團體的標章,影響的層面非但僅止於學校現有師生的認同度,更擴及歷屆校友的歸屬感。校徽甚至可將學校氣質與形象深植於社會大眾心中,作為招生與籌募經費的一大利器。因此本研究除了蒐集國內技職校院校徽,建構校徽形成年代及造形種類的歸納表以外,並進一步分析有無設計背景的受測者在校徽意象認知的差異性。 本研究透過形容詞檢核表(checklist)的測量格式,針對46所校徽列出15個關鍵形容詞,來瞭解受測者對國內各技職校院校徽意象認知情形。透過T考驗方式,發現以校徽的意象選擇來看,主要意象的差異性並不大。僅有少數校徽呈現有認知差異性,而且多為設計科系高於非設計科系學生的評價;而男女學生則互有高低。並經由單因子變異數分析ONEWAY ANOVA(Analysis of Variance)中的相依樣本設計,來檢定同年代及同一造形種類校徽,發現受測者對校徽意象並無一致性。 本研究亦透過因素分析及集群分析統計方法,得知各個校徽在意象空間上的分佈情形以及存在校徽間的群組關係。
Abstract In recent years, advanced vocational education in Taiwan has continued to flourish, especially during the period of 1999-2001, in which many junior colleges upgraded themselves to the institute or university level. This trend resulted in a great number of newly-established vocational and technological institutes and colleges, and the fierce competition among them. Thus, a school emblem plays the crucial role in SIS i.e. School Identity System, and is also most responsible for molding the public's first impression toward the school. People in the society tend to neglect the existence of a school emblem and that's why the image of a school emblem is such an important figure. An emblem is a mark representative of a school, which effects not only the identity for teachers and students at school but also the sense of belonging of alumni each year. In addition, an emblem can even plant the characteristics and the image of school into people's hearts, and that could be a good tool for schools to enroll more new students and to raise much more funds. So, this study illustrates many emblems of colleges or universities of technology and vocation, constructs the chronicles of the emblem formation and the inductive chart of shaping types, and further analyzes the difference among subjects with or without designing background in identifying the image of a school emblem. There are 15 key adjectives listed in this paper by the measure form of the adjective checklist to show how the subjects recognize the image of 46 school emblems among domestic colleges or universities of technology and vocation. We discovered that in the choices of images of school emblems, the difference of the primary image is not significant, and only a minority of school emblems shows cognitive difference. In the evaluation of school emblems, students from designing department get higher admiration than those without a designing background. This evaluation also differs in gender. We discovered in the paper analyzed by the designing of co-dependent samples in One-factor Analysis of Variance i.e. One-factor ANOVA to test the shaping types of school emblems in the same generation that the subjects' image cognition of school emblems has no consistence.
