誘導運動結合圖地反轉的造形研究

An Investigation about the Combination of Induced Motion and Reversible Figure

摘要


過去我們談論到有關錯視的圖形,往往就會用視知覺的理論來看待或解釋所見的錯視現象,卻很少有人會應用這部分的基礎去開發新的造形方法。「誘導運動」是屬於運動視知覺中一種表現樣態,實際運動的物體可以被知覺為不動的;實際不動的物體也可被知覺為運動的。誘導運動是實際上靜止不動之物,因周圍其它物體影響,而知覺在運動,是一種錯覺性的運動知覺。研究主要探討旋轉速度與線條圖形在誘導現象中所產生的效果。以圓柱形為主軸,設定轉速與線條圖形、轉速與線條的粗細,以及轉速與線條角度等,三階段之線條圖形旋轉的實驗,利用數位變頻系統控制馬達旋轉,依據不同轉速來觀察,其與轉速及圖形之圖地反轉變化關係,並記錄所形成誘導現象之最小轉速界限「速度閾」,以及最大轉速「臨界融合速度」。 透過轉速與圖形間的誘導效果實驗,結果發現:(1)連續的線條圖形在旋轉時,是最容易有誘導的感覺,在旋轉時是造成誘導知覺的主要因素之一。(2)線條的粗細關係到線條圖形的間距,造成圖地關係的分化,影響誘導的變化,較細的連續的線條圖形在旋轉時,較有顯著的誘導效果(3)角度較低的連續的線條圖形在旋轉時,較有顯著的誘導效果,而線條的角度關係到線條圖形的連續性,影響線條圖形的誘導知覺,速度閾也有所不同。(4)不同性別之受測者對於轉速與線條圖形、線條的粗細、線條角度在誘導運動的視覺效果是不相同的,由研究中可知男性對於線條圖形旋轉後,所形成誘導最大臨界融速度範圍是高於女性的。 最後並提出下列幾項結論:(1)線條圖形在誘導運動之視覺表現上,可以利用線條的旋轉速度、圖形的連續性、線條的角度關係、以及線條的圖地關係,作為誘導的設計要素。結合電腦或自動控制馬達的轉速,依序的做變化。在設計應用上,可以利用最小速度閾和最大臨界融合速度的交替來做造形上的變化呈現。 (2)誘導轉速效果結合實際光源的應用上,可透過視覺效果、環境氛圍,及結合 科技藝術等應用方式呈現。(3)誘導運動在整體視覺表現上,可利用開發設計新的思維,創造新的視覺環境,與生活環境結合等方式,作為未來發展目標。

In the past, we used to take a theory of visual conscious to explain the expression of visual illusion without developing the new formative method based on it. The expression of “induced motion” belongs to the phenomenon of the visual sense of motion. Based on it, practical motive object could be sensed as immovable and on the contrary, the immovable object could be sensed as practical motive one. In practice “induced motion” is the immovable object which is effected by other objects and what we cognize is the illusion of the sense of movement. In this research we investigate the visual affection made by the figure of the line and spiral speed. We took cylinder as our object and control the factors which are spiral speed, figure of line shape, angle of line and etc.. Use the digital convertor system to control the speed of motor and record the minimal boundary of “ Speed Threshold” and the maximal one of “Critical Fusion Speed ”. In our result, we found out four discoveries list below: 1.The figure of continuous line shape induces the strongest affection in the spiral induced motion part. 2.The thickness of line shape effects the inner distance of line figure and it cause the obvious differentiation of ambiguous figure. Thinner line shape cause marked affection when rotating the experimental set. 3.Small angle of the line shape cause marked affection and the speed threshold. 4.Different sex cause different affection in the factors of line shape, thickness of line and the angle of line. In this investigation, we found out male’s feel of maximal critical fusion is higher than female’s. At last we made four conclusions list below: 1.We can take some factors which are rotative speed, continuous shape, angles of line and the ambiguous figure as our induced factors and we can combine both minimal speed threshold and maximal critical fusion threshold to show on our application. 2.Induced motion can be steadily proceeded with the expression of light creation, environmental mold and technical art. 3.Induced motion can become a new media applied on our art work to create new visual conscious in our living world.
