雲林縣國民小學家長參與學校教育與 學校效能關係之研究

摘要


摘 要 本研究主旨在於瞭解國民小學教師所知覺的家長參與學校教育與學校效能 之現況;其次,比較不同個人背景變項與學校環境變項的國小教師所知覺家長參 與學校教育與學校效能之差異情形;最後,則探討家長參與學校教育與學校效能 兩者之間的關係。本研究採用問卷調查法,以雲林縣公立國民小學教師為調查對 象,包含主任、組長、級任與科任教師,並以「國民小學家長參與學校教育與學 校效能之調查問卷」為研究工具。總計抽取546 位教育人員為研究樣本,合計回 收有效問卷為516 份,回收可用率為84.12%。進一步以描述性統計之平均數、 標準差、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關等統計方法加以分析,歸 納出主要研究結果如下。 一、雲林縣國小教師對於整體家長參與學校教育的知覺屬「中高程度」,以「親 師的溝通互動層面」最高,「參與親職教育」最低。 二、雲林縣國小不同性別、學校規模、學校地區之教師所知覺的家長參與學校教 育具有顯著差異,不同性別教師所知覺家長參與學校教育在「與子女共同學 習」層面有所差異、不同學校規模在「親師的溝通互動」層面小型學校較高 於中型及大型學校,在「擔任學校義工」層面規模為13-24班以下的國小教 師高於學校規模為12班以下的國小教師,不同學校地區之教師所知覺的家長 參與學校教育在「子女共同學習」層面,鄉鎮(一般)地區的國小教師高於 縣轄市(斗六市)學校的國小教師。 三、雲林縣國小教師對於整體學校效能的知覺屬「中高程度」,以「校長領導與 行政管理層面」最高,「學生的行為與學習表現」最低。 四、雲林縣國小不同學校規模之教師所知覺的學校效能具有顯著差異。 五、雲林縣國小教師所知覺家長參與學校教育與學校效能之間具有顯著正相關。 最後,本研究依據上述研究結果,進一步提出相關建議,以供教育行政機關、 學校及教育人員,以及未來研究之參考。 關鍵詞:國民小學、學校效能、家長參與學校教育、家長參與

Abstract This study aims: (1) to examine the parent involvement in schooling and the school effectiveness perceived by educators of elementary schools;(2) to compare how educators of elementary schools with different personal background variables and school environment variables perceive parent involvement in schooling and school effectiveness;(3) to investigate the relationship between parent involvement in schooling and school effectiveness. Questionnaire survey was used. “The Survey on Parent Involvement in Schooling and School Effectiveness” questionnaire were given to the subjects in this study, who are educators of public elementary schools in Yunlin County. In total, 546 educators were sampled, 516 questionnaires were collected, and the questionnaire response rate is 84.12%. Descriptive statistics such as sample mean and standard deviation were calculated. The survey data were further analyzed by Student’s t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The perception of general parent involvement in schooling by educators of public elementary schools in Yunlin County is at medium to high level. Among various aspects of parent involvement in schooling, their perception of “parent-teacher communication” is at the highest level, their perception of “ participate in parents’ education ” is at the lowest level. 2. There is significant difference in the perceived parent involvement in schooling by educators of elementary schools in Yunlin County when educators of different sexes, from schools with different size, and with different school regions are compared. . III 3. There is no significant difference in the perceived parent involvement in schooling by educators of elementary schools in Yunlin County when educators with different years of seniority and with different academic degrees and holding different positions are compared. 4. The perception of general school effectiveness by educators of public elementary schools in Yunlin County is at medium to high level. Among various aspects of school effectiveness, their perception of “principal leadership and administrative management” is at the highest level, their perception of student behavior and academic performance is at the lowest level. 5. There is significant difference in the perceived school effectiveness by educators of elementary schools in Yunlin County when educators of with different years of seniority are compared. 6. There is no significant difference in the perceived school effectiveness by educators of elementary schools in Yunlin County when educators with different sexes and with different years of seniority and with different academic degrees and holding different positions and with different regions are compared. 7. There is a positive correlation between the parent involvement in schooling and the school effectiveness perceived by educators of elementary schools in Yunlin County. On the basis of these results, the author proposed relevant suggestions for educators, elementary schools, education administrative institution, as well as for future research.
