《秋月心》繪本創作研究

摘要


現今隔代教養的小孩,普遍性在自信與人際關係較為不足,此問題值得關切。繪本可以反應現實生活中小孩的內心世界,決定由此議題透過繪本做為表現媒介。閱讀對象選定為6~10歲的學童,此時小朋友正處於愛幻想、冒險的階段,因此本繪本表現風格與手法朝向超現實、具幻想性、傳統與現代符號的元素融合表現以之對應。繪本完成後的試讀測試,針對7~9歲(小學一、二年級)的學童試讀結果發現:(1)在繪本文字接受度上,孩童對《秋月心》繪本當中的故事與文字能夠理解;(2)在視覺圖像喜好上,運用符號暗示、象徵性圖像及超現實手法在畫面上呈現,能吻合小朋友心理上的發展與需求,小朋友能夠吸收並接受;(3)在產生同理心上,藉由想像與象徵隱喻的故事內容,讓孩子們體會到家庭與友情的溫暖;(4)在激發想像力上,小朋友們會以繪本故事中的情節做想像延伸來激發他們更多的幻想與創作能力。綜合以上四點,閱讀《秋月心》的故事和圖像,還可以享受有如遊戲解碼中的趣味與探索,對學童自身內心成長有所助益。另一方面,在個人創作風格由此機會做為轉變的契機,由原本具裝飾、向量、平面的風格轉向有手繪式情感的呈現是一大突破,作為本創作後續的發展延伸。

Many children raised by grandparents have less self-confidence and are less proficient at interpersonal relationships; this problem deserves concern. Picture books can reflect the inner world of children in reality, thus, this study aims to discuss this issue through the expressive medium of picture books. The readers are children between ages of 6 and 10, who are at the stage when they enjoy imagining and adventures. Thus, the expressive style and methodology of this picture book is correspondingly surrealist and imaginative, with the blending of traditional and modern symbolic elements. After completion of the picture book, test readings for children between 7 and 9 (first and second grade in elementary school) demonstrated that: (1) in terms of acceptance for the picture book text, children can understand the story and words in the Heart of Autumn Moon picture book; (2) in terms of preference for visual images, the use of symbolic connotations, symbolic images, and surrealist method can conform to children’s psychological development and needs, thus children can absorb the story; (3) in terms of creating empathy, the imaginative, symbolic, and connotative story allows children to feel the warmth of family and friendship; (4) in terms of inspiring imagination, children would imaginatively extend the plot of the picture book; they are stimulated to imagine and create. In sum, reading the story and images of Heart of Autumn Moon can allow them to enjoy the fun and exploration of decoding a game, and this is beneficial to the psychological development of children. On the other hand, the personal creative style of the research was give this opportunity to transform, from the decorative, vector-like, and two-dimensional style to the expression of hand-drawn emotions. This is a major breakthrough, and will be developed and extended beyond this work.
