中年人規律從事網球運動的參與動機

Participating Motivations among the Middle-Aged Regular Tennis Participants

摘要


目的:本研究主要在瞭解中年人規律從事網球運動的參與動機。方法:採質性研究,以抽樣飽和理論為基礎,針對16位中年人進行半結構式訪談,並以文件分析及參與觀察方式收集資料。所得資料經開放性、主軸性及選擇性編碼,持續加以比較、整理及分析。結果:發現規律從事網球運動之中年人的參與動機包括健康與體能(追求健康、體重控制、增加體力)、社會支持(家人的支持、同儕與朋友的鼓勵、拓展交友圈)、壓力調適(紓解生活壓力、身心舒暢感、享受網球樂趣)、自我實現(成就感、提高自信心、追求卓越)。結論:健康因素是中年人規律打網球重要動機,當他獲得家人、同儕支持與鼓勵後,更能增強動力。另外,享受網球樂趣及釋放身心壓力的效果之外,贏球及技術精進,可進一步獲得成就感及自信心,使其更委身投入。

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the participating motivations. Methods: Based on the theoretical saturated, sixteen middle-aged and regular tennis participants were interviewed by judgment sampling and using semi-structured interview. All of the data were rearranged, induced, compared, and analyzed by open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. Results: The results of this study indicated that the participating motivations of middle-aged tennis participants included health and fitness (Pursue health, weight control, increase physical fitness), social support (support from family members, encouragement from peers and friends, expand the circle of friends), stress adjustment (relieve life pressure, feel comfortable, and enjoy tennis), self-realization (achievement, improve self-confidence, and pursue excellence). Conclusion: Health factors are an important motivation for middle-aged people to play tennis regularly. When he receives support and encouragement from his family and peers, he will be more motivated. In addition, the effects of enjoying tennis and releasing physical and mental stress, winning and technical advancement can further gain a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence, making it more committed.
