近年來,面對世界汽車產業的經營環境變化,以及中國大陸市場的興起,台灣以蕞爾小島之需卻也能引起國際大廠的注意,而不至於被邊緣化於這個產業變盪的洪流中。這些皆是我國車廠經過這些年來努力耕耘的結果,不斷的提升自己研發相關能力,不僅提供了給我們國內消費者更佳品質的產品,更為自己開啟一扇通往世界的大門,建立起與母廠全球供應體系中舉足輕重的地位。在逐漸轉變的過程中,台灣的車廠是不是能夠發揮既有累積的經驗,再加上現今台灣在其他產業的優勢,而再創造出舉世聞名的台灣模式。 藉由歸納近年來汽車產業市場的動向,以質化的分析方式,加上交易成本理論輔助強化推論的邏輯性,深入探討以下問題: 1. AMS經營模式出現的因素以及此經營模式產生出來的利基點為何? 2. AMS車廠進行代工業務的同時,所可能面對的問題為何?而又該如何解決? 3. AMS經營模式對於整個汽車產業的影響為何? 為了回答上述三個問題,本研究由當今汽車經營趨勢著手,以晶圓代工模式的概念應用於汽車產業經營上,探討汽車產業經營所面臨的問題與挑戰。依市場上所得資訊並輔以業界人士意見,分析透過AMS代工的好處以及執行上其他相關問題。而後以Magna Steyr為例,說明現今市場上進行AMS的概況,並以汽車專業代工模式和晶圓專業代工比較,比較兩者在營運上的異同。最後,本研究提出以下結論: 1. AMS專業代工為汽車產業在追求經營效率下的產物 2. AMS提供了低成本及產能過剩的解決方案 3. 高專屬性的資產不一定要完全100%自己投資且擁有 4. AMS汽車代工朝向大量生產之路
Due to the continuous development in design related affairs, Taiwan is still drawing attention from the big OEM manufacturers under the changing wave of global automotive operating environment. As a result of the ability to grow and grasp Chinese appetite, Taiwanese automotive makers not only provide high capability/price value products, but also commit themselves in the global supply system and help other OEM makers acquire China’s market. At this moment, these auto makers in Taiwan should use the experience accumulated in the past 50 years carefully and leverage different industry advantages to create some value in global automotive industry. Specifically, the present study tries to answer the following three questions: 1. Why we need AMS? And what are the values created by AMS? 2. What are the potential problems while using AMS production? And how AMS solve these problems? 3. What effects will the AMS business model bring to the automotive industry? By analyzing the elements of AMS, this study concludes that: 1. AMS model is born to promote production efficiency. 2. AMS provides the solution for low production cost and capacity surplus. 3. High specific asset could be owned or invested by two different parties which work together. 4. AMS will become a large scale production model.
