This study examines the relationship between strategic alliances and innovation performance, and moderating roles of absorptive capacity and culture differences between strategic alliances and innovation performance. The empirical results show that strategic alliances have a significant positive association with innovation performance. The results also show that absorptive capacity positively mediates the relationship between strategic alliances and innovation performance, and culture differences negatively mediate the relationship between strategic alliances and innovation performance.
