本文藉由2011年9月聯合報的新聞〈是體罰還是體訓?〉一文,來探討疑似體罰事件中體育教師體訓的適當性。本研究採用文本分析法,分析該篇新聞中體訓與體罰之爭議處,並分別檢視該名教師在體訓過程中的教學方式、實施時間、使用器材與新聞中教師的表述是否合宜。本文研究目的除界定體訓與體罰外,更深入釐清兩者的區別,進一步探討該則新聞啟示意義並據以提出相關輔導管教的建議以供教師參考與省思。現代社會是難以根據道德規範及倫理來對教師專業倫理行為做出判斷,所以倫理的判斷必須在多變的狀況下進行觀察與反省。最終不論此新聞事件是為體訓或體罰,都警惕著教師在進行教學時應依對象選擇適當的訓練方式、目標、環境、設施、裝備器材與時間來進行體能訓練,並思考教師專業倫理問題及謹慎評估其教學的適當性,避免外界認為此類體訓案例存在著體罰的爭議。
The author discuss the appropriateness of PE teachers' physical training based on a news title of ‘Is it physical punishment or physical training?' which was published in the United Daily News in September 2011. This study used textual analysis to analyze controversy between physical training and physical punishment, and examined the teacher's teaching method, working time and equipment using in physical training processes whether it is appropriate or not. This study not only defines the physical training and physical punishment, but also distinguishes them deeply, and further provides that the recommendation of the enlightenment and discipline-related counseling for teachers' consultation and reflection. Finally, no matter this news is physical training or physical punishment, we should remind teachers' that they have to choose appropriate training methods, goals, environment, equipment, facilities and time for physical training. We should also think teachers' professional ethical problem and evaluate the appropriateness of teaching carefully. Then, we can avoid that others dispute in physical training which is similar to physical punishment just like this kind of case.
