母親參與自閉兒幼小轉銜歷程之個案研究

摘要


本研究以兩位自閉兒母親為研究對象,採個案研究方法,透過訪談、觀察及相關文件蒐集,探究母親參與自閉兒幼小轉銜之歷程。研究結果發現,在幼小轉銜過程中,自閉兒、母親與導師是最核心的共同體,在核心人物及家庭、學校、醫療、社區等環境因素的影響下,母親對幼小轉銜制度及相關人員的觀感與因應,呈現出多軸線的發展,形成母親參與自閉兒幼小轉銜的歷程。   母親對自閉兒共同關注的議題,包含安置方式與地點、開學前的準備、剛入學的適應問題、適應後的課業、考試、人際問題及未來規劃。母親希望老師能接納自己的孩子,且需要實習老師協助孩子適應新的學習環境,她們也會擔任班級志工以增進自閉兒與同學的互動。醫療方面的診斷評估對母親而言是阻力也是助力,在積極尋求醫療資源後則只能調整自己的期待與作法,也希望醫療人員能給予更多的同理。面對幼小轉銜過程中的相關人員,母親憑著永不放棄、與人為善的信念,積極主動地溝通與配合,彈性調整自己的因應方式。研究者並依據研究結果,提出對現行幼小轉銜服務的省思與建議。

The focus of this research is two mothers whose children have autism. The research is based on case studies through interviews, observation and data collection to determine the mothers’ engagement in their children’s transition from preschool to elementary school. The research indicates that the mothers, the autistic children and the school tutors become the core-mutuality in the transition process. The mother’s feelings, viewpoints and responses to the transition system and related people are affected by the core people and the environment, including the family, the school, the medical system and the society. These develop in various lines and form the transition process which the mother engaged in. Mothers’ common concern about the autistic children includes the ways and places to settle down, the preparation for the first grade, the adapted problems of the beginning stage in elementary school, then the study, examination, relationship problems and future planning after adapted. Mothers hope that the teachers accept their autistic children, and need the practice teachers assist their children to adapt to the new learning environment. Mothers play the volunteers in the class to increase the interaction of the autistic children and their classmates. The clinical diagnosis could be an obstacle and a help for the mothers, they only can adjust their expectations and ways after looking for the medical resource actively and hope the medical crew give more empathy to them. The related people in the transition process, mothers will never give up, get along kindly with other people, communicate and cooperate with related people actively and adjust their response ways flexibly.The researcher gives reflections and suggestions based on the research results.
