The study is to research the way that energy be used by Taipei sport centers, and discuss the different between the centers. Then give suggestions about energy using by the results. Analyzing the building area, visits and electric power using data during this 2 years of the 5 centers, we had found the energy use intensity of each one. And after interviewed with each centers’ staffs, we knew the way and the problems about their energy management. The research results tell that the maximum of the electric power using is in the summer. The less building area, the higher EUI shows. And if the visits over a range, the more it reaches, the lower EUI will be. And neither of them have an unique department to charge the energy management job. Some centers didn’t be planned well when building, so that makes waste. Because sport centers have to be opened every day, so it’s almost impossible to make a big change of the equipment or planning. The suggestions from this research results is, sport centers should share their data to build an energy using mode. Then let the energy using in sport centers can be well controlled, and help to make sure every plan would work when building a new center.
