全球近代最為新興的產業是生物科技產業,不僅涵蓋的範圍廣泛,並且具有很大的商機與市場潛力。因生物科技產業所需的資本與風險大,於研發策略的研擬,尤其是技術選擇的課題上,有其不可忽視的重要性。本研究以從事農業生物科技研發之企業與機構為研究對象,歸納出影響技術選擇之七項主要因素,並以層級分析法探討企業與機構對農業生物科技研發技術選擇影響因素重視程度之排序以及差異性。研究發現,技術專利為研發技術選擇時最先被考量的因素;其次則為公司技術與公司人力。本研究針對研究結果,提出初步建議,冀能提升企業與機構對研發技術選擇之能力,進而有助於其研發策略的研擬。
The biotechnology industry is a global newly arisen industry of modern age, which possesses great business opportunities and market potentials. Since the research and development of the agricultural biotechnology require great amount of investment, and at the same time, presents a great deal of risk, the R&D strategy, especially the decision of technology adoption, has become a very important issue for companies and institutes. In this study, seven factors which might influence the decisions of technology adoption were identified through literature reviews and expert interviews. Analytic hierarchy process(AHP)were then conducted to explore the priorities of these factors in terms of the decision making of technology adoption. It was found that patents, technological resource, and human resource are the major three factors that influence the decision of technology adoption. Suggestions and recommendations were also made to government as well as firms in the hope to improve the effectiveness of R&D strategy.formulation.
