台北市兒童交通博物館視覺設計規劃創作

摘要


博物館扮演的角色功能日益多元,除了展示名畫玉器,更具有教育、娛樂、休憩等功能。十九世紀末期,以兒童為本位的教育思想興起,使兒童開始有專屬的兒童博物館。兒童博物館提供操作性的學習經驗,除了充實自身的展覽活動外,館區內部的視覺設計是否能提供參觀者美好的環境印象,以及適當的參觀順序或規則的引導,甚至更進一步創造出近悅遠來、引人入勝的視覺空間,是每座博物館皆須正視的問題,也是在面臨產業競爭時不應忽視的一環。台北市兒童交通博物館,成立至今已有十餘年的歷史,整體視覺設計雖經過更新改造,但未能反映出兒童交通博物館的特性與理念,整體參觀動線及環境視覺仍欠缺完整規劃,導致館內視覺環境紊亂。本創作為呈現更完善的兒童交通博物館整體視覺形象,透過國內外兒童博物館視覺設計相關案例分析,獲得兒童博物館視覺設計的作業模式與流程,並針對台北市兒童交通博物館進行視覺設計現況與SWOT分析。本創作提出整體視覺設計規劃包括:視覺識別系統、環境標識系統,給予參觀者除了博物館的展覽活動外,更深切感受到來自於兒童博物館本身的美好視覺經驗,使其瞭解博物館的特性及加強認同感,促使增加兒童交通博物館的內在優勢、改善劣勢,達到永續經營的目的,提供更多完善且寓教於樂的服務給兒童。

Recently, the museums have multi-role. The functions of museums include not only showing the cultured exhibit and famous painting but also possessing of the education and recreation. Because of the education theory of children was develop in the latter stage of 19th century, then the children's museums appeared at the same time. The children's museums can offer experience from operating. Thus, the children's museums manage not only to strengthen their own exhibitions and activity, but also to design a bright and fancy environment. It is the question that each museum must all face, especially the competed of museums are more violent in this age. From this point of view, we do need to design the suitable visit order and guide, and create a fascinating vision space for the visitor. Further, the children’s museums can bring not only knowledge but also happy to the visitor, and they will use to come to museum usually. The Taipei children's museum of traffic has established more the ten years. The visual identity and sign communication of the museum can not exhibit the characteristic of children, and the visit order and guide can not direct visitor very well. That is caused the disorderly of the vision environment .In this study we propose a new visual identity and sign communication for the Taipei children's museum of traffic. Further, we create an attractive vision space for the visitor. First, we do the cases study from the local to the international museums. Through the cases study can help us understanding the design’s process of the children's museum. Further, we do the SWOT analysis for the Taipei children's museum of traffic. This paper totally creates a design including visual identity and sign communication. After the change of the Taipei children's museum of traffic, people will have a lovely vision experience in this environment. Thus, the Taipei children's museum of traffic can get a better competence then others, and also can provide more complete service for the children.
