感覺整合功能發展異常孩童之評估與治療

The Assessment and Treatment of Sensory Integrative Dysfunction Children

摘要


隨著社會的改變,一些在過去不被重視的特殊現象,現在都會去請教專家,以期能夠早期預防或治療任何可能的問題。感覺整合理論有關這方面的研究報告不勝枚舉,但對於治療方法及效果,迄今尚未獲一致的結論。作者從專兒童職能治療多年,發現大部分感覺整合功能異常的孩子,常件隨有其他的問題;如行為與情緒障礙,學習態度與人際關係不好等。所以為了徹底改善孩子的感覺整合功能及生活適應能力神經發展治療原則、行為矯正技術、學習理論及游戲治療的技巧,常需合併使用。

The sensory integrative theory and therapy was developed by Dr. Jean Ayres for more than 30 years. It has been applied in different conditions such as in physical disabled, pediatric and psychiatric therapies. Studies about its therapeutic effects have not gotten consistent results yet. And the treatment programs are seldom discussed. According to the author's experience in sensory integrative therapy for children, SI therapy is not self-sufficient for most of the children. Behavior modification techniques, the concepts and techniques of neurodevelopmental therapy and the principles of play therapy are also used very often. The assessment and treatment procedures for the sensory integrative dysfunction children developed by the author are presented here. It is hoped that it will help the pediatric occupational therapists to do a better job.
