地下盆中盆育苗系統對三種草花生育之影響

Effects of In-Ground Pot-In-Pot System on Growth of Three Bedding Plants

摘要


本試驗在夏季以雞冠花(Celosia argentea var. plumosa)、紫芳草(Exacum affine)、四季秋海棠(Begonia semperflorens-cultorum 'Super Olympia Red')為材料,調查地面容器育苗(above-ground container production system, AGC)、地下盆中盆育苗系統(in-ground pot-in-pot system, IGPIP)兩種育苗方式對植物生育之影響。結果顯示IGPIP可顯著提高雞冠花、紫芳草及四季秋海棠之株高、幅寬、地上部及根之乾鮮重,且植株開花較早、花朵數量較多。監測AGC、IGPIP兩種育苗方式之介質溫度,後者明顯較低且較穩定,最多可比AGC方式低8-10 ℃。因此本研究認為在台灣的氣候條件下,IGPIP於夏季具有高度應用之潛力,可生產品質較佳之草花。

In our researches, the substrate temperature of in-ground pot-in-pot system (IGPIP) was lower(4-7.5 ℃)than the temperature of above-ground conventional production system (AGC) in spring and summer. Plant height, canopy diameter, shoot and root dry weight of begonia (Begonia semperflorens-cultorum 'Super Olympia Red'), celosia (Celosia argentea var. plumosa) and Mexican violet (Exacum affine) produced by IGPIP were respectively greater than the values of plants grown by AGC in summer. Besides, the floral growth -- the first day of visible bud or anthesis, flower number, flower size, and inflorescence dry weight of plants grown by IGPIP were still better than plants produced by AGC. IGPIP is a system of possibility to use widely in nursery production in Taiwan.
