The purpose of this study was to understand involvement of the table tennis courses and cognition of leisure benefits on junior high school students in Kaohsiung city. The ”table tennis involvement and leisure benefits cognition questionnaire” was used in this study. The participants were academic year 2010-2011 junior high school students in Kaohsiung city. Descriptive statistical methods and canonical correlation were used in data analysis. The results were summarized as follows: (1) The ”participating behavior” was the highest degree of involvement followed by ”technical” ”social-psycho”. The ”equipment-related resources” was the lowest degree of involvement. (2) The ”physiological benefit” was the highest cognition of leisure benefits followed by ”psychological benefit”. The ”social benefit” was the lowest cognition of leisure benefits. (3) There was a canonical correlation coefficient reaching a significant level.
