目的:分析2010年及2012年空手道選手在世界級比賽中道服與護具調整次數、間隔時間及比賽總時間,以瞭解世界空手道聯盟2011年新規則(如增戴身體護具、不進行延長賽、增加消極犯規等)對選手調整道服與護具次數及比賽總時間之影響。方法:以2010年及2012年世界空手道錦標賽男女對打各量級前五名選手作為研究對象,使用官方影片進行影像分析,記錄道服與護具調整次數與其間隔時間、比賽總時間。結果:道服與護具總平均調整次數2012年(男:31.93次;女:22.43次)高於2010年(男:21.33次;女:15.57次);平均調整間隔時間2012年(男:7.52秒;女:8.03秒)頻繁於2010年(男:11.25秒;女:11.56秒);平均比賽總時間2012年(男:6分11秒;女:4分47秒)長於2010年(男:5分31秒;女:4分11秒)。相較於2010年,2012年男子組每場平均調整身體護具、道服、腰帶、拳套、護脛、護腳背次數分別增加1.20次、2.15次、1.93次、3.46次、1.69次、0.70次;女子組分別增加1.86次、0.57次、1.29次、3.36次、0.07次、0.86次。結論:增戴身體護具規定實施後可能增加道服與護具調整次數及比賽總時間。相較於2010年,2012年世界空手道錦標賽有較多的道服與護具調整次數,較短的調整間隔時間,以及較長的比賽總時間。
Purpose: To analyze the number of adjustments of karate-gi and protective gears, adjustment time intervals of kumite contestants, and duration of bout in the world-class competitions in 2010 and 2012. World Karate Federation (WKF) has announced new regulations in 2011, such as wearing body protector, no extension, increase passivity fouls, etc., that may affect the number of adjustments of karate-gi and protective gears of kumite contestants and duration of bout. Methods: The subjects were the top 5 kumite contestants for all weight classes of the World Karate Championships in 2010 and 2012. By utilizing WKF official video analysis to compare the differences in the number of adjustments for karate-gi and protective gears, adjustment time intervals of kumite contestants, and duration of bout. Results: The average number of adjustments for karate-gi and protective gears in 2012 (male: 31.93 times; female: 22.43 times) which was higher than 2010 (male: 21.33 times; female: 15.57 times); the average adjustment time intervals in 2012 (male: 7.52 seconds; female: 8.03 seconds) which was more frequently than 2010 (male: 11.25 seconds; female: 11.56 seconds); the average duration of bout in 2012 (male: 6 minutes and 11 seconds; female: 4 minutes and 47 seconds) which was longer than 2010 (male: 5 minutes and 31 seconds; female: 4 minutes and 11 seconds). Compared to 2010, the average number of adjustments for body protection, karate-gi, belts, mitts, shin pads, and foot protection increased by 1.20, 2.15, 1.93, 3.46, 1.69, and 0.70 times in the men's group, and the women's group increased by 1.86, 0.57, 1.29, 3.36, 0.07, and 0.86 times, respectively in 2012. Conclusions: After the implementation of the new regulations in 2011, the number of adjustments of karate-gi and protective gears and duration of bout may be increased. Compared to 2010, the 2012 World Karate Championship has more adjustments in the number of karate-gi and protective gears, shorter adjustment time intervals, and longer duration of bout.
