Medical Imaging of Pancreatic Cancer

摘要


胰臟腫瘤與其他疾病一樣,受益於適當診斷和早期介入治療。這些醫學影像的進步可以使醫師更早發現疾病所在,進而改善患者的治療結果。本文旨在探討胰臟癌,又稱胰導管腺癌(pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma)的影像學表現及其鑑別診斷,以增進臨床醫師對相關醫學影像的了解。多切面電腦斷層掃描(multi-detector computed tomography, MDCT)是臨床懷疑胰臟癌患者的首選初始影像工具,磁振造影掃描(magnetic resonance imaging, MRI)有時可以為各種胰臟病變的檢測和表徵提供許多其他進一步的資訊。

For patients with pancreatic tumors, like other diseases, are benefit from proper diagnosis and early intervention. The progress of medical imaging facilities can make physicians find the disease earlier, so as to improve the patient's treatment results. This study aims to explore the pancreatic cancer (also known as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma) imaging findings and differential diagnosis to enhance the clinician knowledge of the relevant medical images. Ultrasonography is the first tool to screen and detect pancreatic lesions. Multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) may be the preferred imaging tool for patients with suspected pancreatic cancer. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) provides much information in further characterization of various pancreatic lesions. The integration of these imaging tools is necessary for the accurate assessment of pancreatic parenchyma, pancreatic duct and adjacent soft tissue to correctly detect and stage tumors, to distinguish between solid and cystic lesions, and to track the effectiveness of treatment.
