牛樟抽出物與精油成分之抗腐朽菌活性

Antifungal Activities of Extracts and Essential Oil's Constituents from "Cinnamomum Kanehirae"

摘要


牛樟(Cinnamomum kanehirae)為台灣原生特有之闊葉樹種,為了了解牛樟之抗腐朽特性,本試驗以二種褐腐菌Laetiporus sulphureus、Gloeophllum trabeum,以及二種白腐菌Lenzites betulina、Trametes versicolor為試驗菌種,評估牛樟抽出物、精油及其成分的抗腐朽菌活性。試驗結果顯示,牛樟乙醇抽出物對L.s.與L.b.之抗菌活性較佳,在濃度為100 ppm時,對L.s.與L.b.的抗菌指數分別為71.1%與73.8%,進一步評估牛樟乙醇抽出物各分離部之抗腐朽活性,證實正己烷可溶部之抗腐朽活性最佳。至於精油及其成分抗腐朽活性方面,當精油濃度為1000 ppm時,可完全抑制L.s.與L.b.兩種腐朽菌的生長,而精油成分中,則以丁香酚之抗腐朽活性最佳,使用濃度為100 ppm時,對L.s.與L.b之抗菌指數分別為100%及95.1%。

"Cinnamomum kanehirae" is an endemic broadleaved tree species in Taiwan. To characterize the antifungal properties of "C. kanehirae", two kinds of brown rot fungi (Laetiporus sulphureus and Gloeophyllum trabeum) and two kinds of white rot fungi (Lenzites betulina and Trametes versicolor) were employed in this study to evaluate the antifungal activity of its extracts and essential oils. The results revealed that antifungal indices of 100 ppm of ethanolic extracts against "L. sulphureus" and "L. betulina" were 71.1% and 73.8%, respectively. Among the four fractions of ethanolic extracts, hexane-soluble fraction was proved to display the best antifungal performance. In addition, results obtained from the antifungal test of essential oil and its constituents of "C. kanehirae" demonstrated that 1000 ppm of essential oil inhibited completely the mycelial growth of "L. sulphureus" and "L. betulina", and that eugenol was the strongest antifungal constituent of the essential oil. The antifungal indices of eugenol at 100 ppm against L.s. and L.b. were 100% and 95.1%, respectively.
