中鋼大型高爐開爐作業

The Blow in Operation of Large Blast Furnace at C.S.C.

中國鋼鐵公司,三號高爐(爐床直徑12.5M)的設計日產能為每日生產6,400公噸鐵水。三號高爐於民國七十四年五月開始動工,民國七十六年十月建廠完成,共計30個月。由於此一新高爐之加入生產,使得中鋼年產鐵水量增加為5,400,000公噸。三號高爐於民國七十六年十一月十七日點火後第80天達到設計產能,本報告特介紹有關設備概要及點火升風之過程。

China Steel's No.3 blast furnace (hearth diameter 12.5m) was designed to produce 6,400 metric tons of hot metal per day and insure a consistent and reliable supply of hot metal for steel making. The construction of No.3 blast furnace started in may 1985 and was completed within 30 months in october 1987. With the new furnace brought on stream, China Steel annual hot metal production capacity is increased to 5,400,000 metric tons. The furnace reached its design production capacity within 80 days after blow-in (Nov. 17. 1987). This presentation covers the construction, blow-in procedure and technical considerations applied to C.S.C. No.3 blast furnace.
