圓錐角膜之表層角膜晶體成形術－病例報告
Epikeratophakia for Keratoconus-Case Report
摘要
圓錐角膜之治療，依其病況之程度而異。非手術治療包括眼鏡及隱型眼鏡。手術方法則為角膜移植。近年發展之表層角膜晶體成形術(EPIKERATOPHAKIA)對圓錐角膜亦有良好之矯治效果。本文報告一例圓錐角膜施行是項手術之經過，術前視力以眼鏡只能矯正至0.05，術後一年三個月可以眼鏡矯正至0.7，結果相當良好。此項手術乃角膜移值前值得首先嚐試之手術。

A case of keratoconus was treated with epikeratophakia, using the lyopilized kerato-lens from Allergan Medical Optics. The post-operative course was uneventful except moderate degree of astigmatism. However, the astigmatism was corrected sucessfully with further relaxing incision. The graft remained clear up to 15 months after epikeratophakia. The visual acuity improved from 20/400 to 20/30 at the end of 15 months. Epikeratophakia is a relatively simple, effective and safe surgery for keratoconus and it will serve as an alternate method of treatment to penetrating keratoplasty in case of no opacity in the visual axis of cornea.
