摘要
眼眶膽固醇肉芽腫(cholesterol granuloma)是一種罕見眼睛疾病，其致病機轉至今仍不清楚“本案例報告一位22歲女性，其病徵為左眼眼眶外上緣有一突出物，眼科理學檢查亦為正常，放射線檢查顯示左眼眶外上方有一直徑約2公分之橢圓堅實病兆，並有溶骨(osteolytic)現象。病患接受腫瘤摘除手術後，病兆組織染色呈現許多膽固醇間隙、巨大細胞和血鐵質，確定為膽固醇肉芽腫。術後追蹤5年，腫瘤沒有復發現象。

Cholesterol granuloma of the orbit is a rare disease, and its pathogenesis is still obscure, We report a case of a young woman, aged 22. The only sign was lid swelling. Ophthalmologic examinations were negative. On X-ray examination, a solid mass within the diploe of the bone with osteolytic lesion was noted. Patient received anterior orbitotomy and complete removal of tumor mass was done. Histolopathogically, the lesion revealed numerous choleterol clefts surrounded by foreign body giant cells, and hemosiderin pigment deposition. There is no evidence of recurrence during 5-year follow-up periods.
